Becoming Another Place(meant)

Becoming Another Place(meant)

Becoming Another Place(meant)

Unpacking moments that stir
Only to put them in boxes
And divide them into retreat
Or gift of my future
To remember with fond leaps
Rather than this slapping
From every corner
I've torn loose from their
Sanctuary of hidden spirits
That wished to inflict upon me
Yet, they only tore loose
From near me instead
For how much I changed
Far from all these experiences
Designed to trap me
By the once leading of
False guides sent by darkness
Only light has ignited
To the place I’ll be creating
Because it is full of traveling birth
No more stagnation, nor other corpses
My shelves had filled with dust of
And rotten pieces I thought
Memorabilia to braid into nests
Pulled apart for their hearts
Saving skeletons for later
Anything remaining from that
To burn or thrown and away
Taking these hearts into the plains

Packed up like Gypsy Ancestors
Holding seasoned Nomads upon
My walking roots of tomorrow
Perhaps somewhere there was Native
Besides my spirit's magic
I hold a Goddess in this vessel
Of human to exist
Taking to our paradise my teachings
That my girl can be goddess too
Only waiting for God rising
In the equal of all Pantheons
All ego of deity, killed to be
Only what a human must become
Against the odds of false gifts
Real beauty is sewing its life
Into my own skeletons
I remember I am equal but
I remember, so is everyone
Only those who remember too
Can ever understand my lives
Of more than word(s), more than wisdom
Kindness I'll remember, even
If I must do what is best
For the souls I love
So deep, or in passing these
Spirits of an Otherside, I've never
Been mixed into, dead or alive
For I've made my own once
In some other life to be of
