Stood Along Her Move

Stood along her move

Stood Along Her Move

Along the views of mountains
She flattened a place
For her own freedom
It lined with pines
To soar with winter's
Call for life in forest
Next to a circle of fire
She would sleep waiting
Yet not waiting for a thing
As she's hatched along
The stars outside of fire's glow
Her stories carved paths
Outlining her land
Packed in magic
Life followed her in a row
Claiming where she was
And to meet her where she stood
There were no streetlights
This silence of the night
Her stage of watching spirits
Too cold for crickets and frogs
The world was alive anyway
Crackling fire kept her
Focused in her craft
She shared her love there
Where her knowing was open
She was going somewhere
Others could choose or not choose
To become their own somewhere

Her steps carved her dreams
As clear as a walk in sun
Where her windows would
Look over the collaborative
Holding onto the moving
Stimulating where her voice
Spoke of plans in plans in plans
Of her heart's song about
Land to hold her home
Perched on a branch
Full of chiming secrets
Remembering her flight
And freedom along her back
Creaking through the wind
She followed its direction
On stream of air
Folding her memories of
Leaves to grow along
Where she stood in tallest
Of trees along her tunnel
Along the sky where
Black birds are on each one
And home was calling
Holding a place still along
Held close by all she had
To sleep another rise
As sun upon a mountain
Promising purples before night
Laughter on the new breeze

Love is Your Name

love is your name

Love is Your Name

I have your witness
Watching my every word
With your heart and determination
But, where is your fear
When you raised your
Strength to be with a wild woman
Where's this courage to
Walk into my forest now
Speak to me My Love
And remind me of our imagination
When we thought we
Where connected on ears with wings
Easy as a child's voice
As my girl whispered your visits
Could you've ever used yours
That voice you fill with real
Upon my own mind and heart
Only upon my determination
It would seem, you've wanted
As I've used with armor
Of a bubble delaying all mention
But my body always feels
What you've been saying
Where's my fear
But in your hands of
Reaching and pulling away
Unendless dance of ripping
Inside my growing
Yet, reborn scarred

If you'd hold me while
I regrew our becoming
It would heal beyond
Your own heat's holding
Because, didn't you feel it grow
Each night upon your soul's
Visits in my bed to be closer
To this heart that seems to
Be filled with your name
And names, My Gift
My Princess, waiting for what
What words are enough for you
Upon your balcony as I
Wooed and wooed above
Your inhale, inside your
Exhale, for your existence
Inside mine, inside yours
Pulled into, and into more
As we cross, there, is the same
Center that is the universe
And the others that make
Everything solid with this vibration
Also unending as this love
Let the stars blink for
We will still be this far apart
As they make one sky
No matter where you are
We are our own sky
One sky, look up at us

Woman Inside the Swan's Bed

Woman inside the swan's bed

Woman Inside the Swan's Bed

She brushed her hair
With feathers to ribbon
And paint on her heart
The path to her world
There once were steps
Down to where her soul
Glowed along her knowing
It held too many
Knives in her sex
No more belonging inside
Twisting down around
Her body and hair in curls
To warm her bed with tears
Drifting to the waterlilies
Covering the hands reaching
Touching her palm to be
Invited to go deep with them
Watching the underwater
Eyes blink at her waiting
Answering with her stand
To pet all the snakes
Trying to bite her through
Her gates locked with
Witnesses, a boy, a girl
Children to watch her
Down went her mind
With the swim while
She walked away
Back to her body

Awaking in wet flowers
Alone in a scented room
Left with the aroma of
Worth and worthy of
The kind of love she gives
Gentle and full to give
Happiness she sends on
Its way to play with
What once thought of itself
As trouble, now only fun
She twists the feather
In the smoke ringing around
Her standing away from
The sleep that was binding
Her to unloved arms
She glided holding her own
She could feel the walls
She walked through
Where were the children
Guarding the gate
Where was there ever a gate
As the stir in the ocean
Hit the falling waves to
Her feet before infinite
Horizon of sun upon
Warm were these salted
Water to fill her again
Warm was the deeper
She walked in

A More Awoken Awakened

A more awoken awakened

A More Awoken Awakened

It started as a place
My mind crawled out
Into a sun, a ray
With the madness
Of such speed to allowing
And yet I went to places
Where I allowed and allowed
A leap for me, into
That place without a friend
Only ghosts of could-be's
Because I awoke from
Shaken into real and
The clues said not-here
I've learned but carry on
I wish I had that mentor
A vision I once could reach
But that path tore me open
To grow new steps
Somewhere that bloomed
Its messages before
My feet could find a focus
To step upon the petals
Leaving scented dust up
The mountains so smooth
Like down stream as
I rise up to that top
Where the place I was
To go was already
Going across the snow

I'd say goodbye to shadows
But I don't speak to dreams
When awakened to my flow
Clarity is my heart's speak
Confusion only a mark
Of where I will leave
So again that sun shines
On my opening eyes
Of soft breezes coming
In from the peaks I jump
Smelling of lilacs in Fall
I sit upon my own fire
And I float to more, instead
Smelling like the winter walks
Of worth and mystery
Maybe sometimes the rain
Will freeze for me to slide
Calling the melting showers
As I smell now, my wet ground
Yet still, my fire burns
Because it is fueled by my
Heart's revealing caves
Of echoing homeward
A place I've been before
Sprit walked into me
With my own loudness
Waiting by its bedside, there
Promising the dreams I have
Will be while I wake now
