A Nothing Came to Whisper

A Nothing Came to Whisper

A Nothing Came to Whisper

Then the ancient came
Stirring the knowing
Deep within my under core
Deeper still than voice can be
Perhaps with masks of
Pantheons or soldiers of
Hiding the even older underneath
Beyond the antiquity of darkness
Further still than the pull
Of such imagined openings
At this center
Where stars are born
Where the universe only glimpses
Feathers line it with wings
Of beings called from her
There is quiet here
And giving up from too long
Tired, disguised as letting go
Really is a seed
Smaller than the everything
That is born inside an atom
Bigger than the demise
Of being pulled apart
A question lingered along
Can I be healed here?
Is there more than the breath
That is bigger than my throat
Chakra's ability to
Hold it for another tomorrow

Then there was alone again
More than ever to guard
Though somewhere out there
Is a him like me if
Nothing hit me like all this
Perfect opportunity
Because of unlikely preparational
Consequences of all the resent
Upon me just because I
Have blood flowing through me
And he with his satisfied
With not moving toward this
Why would such pulling
Ever be quenched
Could it be another delusion
Because my whole is hanging
Open for the unlikely to
Become another proof of
He might not be because
He was raised guarded
Whole of him helping
The like-enough around him
So, why would he come here
Why should I wait and see
I've found enough to hold me
Together a little longer
While something deep came
To put me back together
To reflect in his mirror
