A More Awoken Awakened

A more awoken awakened

A More Awoken Awakened

It started as a place
My mind crawled out
Into a sun, a ray
With the madness
Of such speed to allowing
And yet I went to places
Where I allowed and allowed
A leap for me, into
That place without a friend
Only ghosts of could-be's
Because I awoke from
Shaken into real and
The clues said not-here
I've learned but carry on
I wish I had that mentor
A vision I once could reach
But that path tore me open
To grow new steps
Somewhere that bloomed
Its messages before
My feet could find a focus
To step upon the petals
Leaving scented dust up
The mountains so smooth
Like down stream as
I rise up to that top
Where the place I was
To go was already
Going across the snow

I'd say goodbye to shadows
But I don't speak to dreams
When awakened to my flow
Clarity is my heart's speak
Confusion only a mark
Of where I will leave
So again that sun shines
On my opening eyes
Of soft breezes coming
In from the peaks I jump
Smelling of lilacs in Fall
I sit upon my own fire
And I float to more, instead
Smelling like the winter walks
Of worth and mystery
Maybe sometimes the rain
Will freeze for me to slide
Calling the melting showers
As I smell now, my wet ground
Yet still, my fire burns
Because it is fueled by my
Heart's revealing caves
Of echoing homeward
A place I've been before
Sprit walked into me
With my own loudness
Waiting by its bedside, there
Promising the dreams I have
Will be while I wake now
