Stood Along Her Move

Stood along her move

Stood Along Her Move

Along the views of mountains
She flattened a place
For her own freedom
It lined with pines
To soar with winter's
Call for life in forest
Next to a circle of fire
She would sleep waiting
Yet not waiting for a thing
As she's hatched along
The stars outside of fire's glow
Her stories carved paths
Outlining her land
Packed in magic
Life followed her in a row
Claiming where she was
And to meet her where she stood
There were no streetlights
This silence of the night
Her stage of watching spirits
Too cold for crickets and frogs
The world was alive anyway
Crackling fire kept her
Focused in her craft
She shared her love there
Where her knowing was open
She was going somewhere
Others could choose or not choose
To become their own somewhere

Her steps carved her dreams
As clear as a walk in sun
Where her windows would
Look over the collaborative
Holding onto the moving
Stimulating where her voice
Spoke of plans in plans in plans
Of her heart's song about
Land to hold her home
Perched on a branch
Full of chiming secrets
Remembering her flight
And freedom along her back
Creaking through the wind
She followed its direction
On stream of air
Folding her memories of
Leaves to grow along
Where she stood in tallest
Of trees along her tunnel
Along the sky where
Black birds are on each one
And home was calling
Holding a place still along
Held close by all she had
To sleep another rise
As sun upon a mountain
Promising purples before night
Laughter on the new breeze
